Krippner, Stanley(1980). Humanistic psychology and parapsychology. Parapsychological Journal of South Africa, 1(2), (pp. 45-77) Abstract Maintains that parapsychology could benefit from the holistic and existential thrusts of humanistic psychology. The 2 areas overlap regarding the study of motivation, goal setting, integration, and creativity. Parapsychology may have important data to offer humanistic psychology in regard to classroom and psychotherapeutic events. Experiments suggest the existence of a "field" that connects S and experimenter, "sender" and "receiver." This field may tie together teacher and student, or therapist and patient, as well. (90 ref)
