Schmeidler, Gertrude(1979). What next in survival research: V. A proposal for predictive research on survival. Journal of Indian Psychology, 2(1), (pp. 24-29) Abstract Outlines a design for research on survival after death that is innovative because it is predictive rather than retrospective, is fully blind, permits standard statistical evaluation of its predictions, and recognizes the diversity of human beings by predicting different types of evidential data from different individuals. It is used to test a falsifiable hypothesis. If its predictions are significantly confirmed, the data can open the way for follow-up studies that will permit comparison of the super-psi hypothesis against the hypothesis of survival after death by the method of convergent validity.
