Parker Rhodes, Frederick(1979). Body, mind and soul. Journal of the Society for Psychical Research, 50(782), (pp. 238 -243) Abstract As an alternative to the restrictiveness of the dualist world view, a model is presented of the "whole" described as a wheel with spokes separating a number of interrelated but distinct segments or planes. These include the physical, the organic and the "numinal"; in addition a plane earlier than the physical may someday be understood. The place of mind, body, and soul in this schema and its relationship to psi phenomena are discussed.
