Parapsychology Review, 8(2), (pp. 1-11) Abstract Surveys psychical investigations by about 20 philosophers, from Augustine of Hippo (4th and 5th centuries A.D.) to C. D. Broad (1887-1971). British, American, German, Polish, and French philosophers are included and their contributions to psychical research are reported in detail. It is concluded that philosophy as a profession has been very near the top in both the quantity and quality of psychic research.
