O'Brien, Judith T (1976). Examining experimenter effects. Parapsychology Review, 7(5), (pp. 25-28) Abstract Presents evidence showing that Es can bias studies, not only through subtle sensory cues, as has recently been recognized, but also through psychokinesis. Methods for eliminating these errors are discussed. Paranormal effects in particular might be controlled by looking for idiosyncratic scoring patterns in the data of Es and by replicating studies using different Es and Ss.
