Nash, Carroll B (1976). Subjects' selection of the target corner. Parapsychology Review, 7(1), (pp. 25) Abstract Describes an experiment in which Ss entered a room and touched 1 of the 4 corners while agents attempted to guide their selection using ESP. Three of the walls were blank and the 4th contained a one-way window. 40 undergraduate volunteers participated in 4 runs of 4 trials each. Each of 3 Es served individually as agents for 1 of the 1st 3 runs, and all 3 served simultaneously as agents in the 4th run. 180 hits occurred out of a mean chance expectancy of 160. Most of the effect occurred in the 1st trials, and the difference between the 1st and 2nd halves of the runs was significant ( P < .001).
