Abstract

The past success rate of the automated ganzfeld system has brought with it both praise and criticisms from experimenters and critics. Researchers associated with the Koestler Chair of Parapsychology at the University of Edinburgh have designed an automated ganzfeld system oriented toward evaluating and addressing these problems. The receiver, sender, experimenter, and video rooms involved are described along with procedural stages and improved security measures. A flow chart of the Edinburgh automated ganzfeld program is appended.
