Kennedy, J E
(1995). Methods for investigating goal-oriented psi. Journal of
Parapsychology, 59(1), (pp. 47-62) Abstract Describes different forms of degrees of
goal-oriented psi and research strategies for determining which ones apply
and under what conditions. Key evidence that psi is goal-oriented to some
degree is noted. Research strategies based on a hierarchy of goals are
described, as well as those based on the apparent efficient operation of psi.
Four fundamental aspects of information-processing that are relevant to task
complexity and goal-oriented psi include redundant opportunities for psi,
information about the psi task, a priori probability of success, and
information transmitted or utilized.
