Tromp, Solco
W (1965). Meteorological influences on parapsychological tests.
International Journal of Parapsychology, 2), (pp. 183-190) Abstract Indicates the physiological
interrelationship between the hypothalamus (the principal thermo-regulation
center in the body) and the pituitary, and reviews the influence of the
meteorological environment on these centers. Physiological changes in the
body as a result of meteorological stresses may be responsible for the
poorer parapsychological results obtained during certain experimental days
and may explain the difficulty in reproducing and comparing results of
different research workers.
