Lambert, G W (1964). Scottish
haunts and Poltergeists II. Journal of the Society for Psychical
Research, (719), (pp. 223-226) Abstract 50
cases of haunting are reviewed, and poltergeist phenomena, which included
(1) rattling doors and latches, (2) feeling of pressure by persons in bed,
(3) night-mares, and (4) apparitions. 120 earthquakes in 34 yr. are reviewed
as possible causes of this "haunting." 5 special cases are examined with
possible explanations, but it is concluded that some strong earth shocks,
owe their origin to small slips precipitated by underground water.
