Nash, C B (1963).
Physical and metaphysical parapsychology. Journal of Parapsychology,
27(4), (pp. 282-300) Abstract "Although the
assimilation of psi phenomena into the body of scientific knowledge will
require some relatively revolutionary additions to physical theory, it seems
more likely that such augmentations will be made than that science will
alter its metaphysical position from physicalism to interactionism or
idealism. The science of parapsychology has as much to contribute to
philosophy as did physics and biology before it. However, like these
sciences, parapsychology may not provide a final answer to the ageless
metaphysical question of the relationship of mind and body." A theory of psi
phenomena is offered which postulates that the S is in contact with remote
aspects of the environment through the "world lines" representing elementary
particles in the 4-dimensional space-time universe.
