salience in the Pratt-Woodruff series. Journal of Parapsychology, 25,
(pp. 130-135) Abstract New analysis of the data
of the 4 highest-scoring Ss of this series reveal that the extrachance
scoring was not uniformly distributed over the run of 25 cards but was
concentrated in the 1st and/or last few cards. This finding is offered as
another example of position effect in ESP like the numerous other cases from
both ESP and PK research previously reported.
