game and standard PK testing techniques under competitive and noncompetitive
conditions. Journal of Parapsychology, 24, (pp. 235-245) Abstract Standard dice-throwing tests for
psychokinesis (PK) and tests designed as a game were played with and without
the element of competition. The general results, statistically significant
in the same scoring aspects as in a previous study, favored the game
technique over the nongame technique and the competitive over the
noncompetitive situation.
