telepathy. Journal of Parapsychology, 20, (pp. 1-32) Abstract A total of 328 reports of apparently
spontaneous telepathic occurrences were analyzed for suggestions regarding
the roles of the agent and the percipient. In about half of the cases
neither one was consciously motivated with respect to the other. However, a
basis for motivation of percipient toward agent was present in all cases,
while no basis could be found for agent initiative in 16 percent of the
cases.
