Abstract
Replications are often regarded as either a means to control for errors or as a means for generalizing findings. To arrive at an adequate evaluation of the significance of a replication in parapsychology, the requirements of the concept should be carefully adjusted to the peculiarities of the topic range. The author discusses replications and these requirements in this conceptual analysis.
