Adrian ParkerAdrian Parker holds Doctors and Masters degrees in Psychology from the University of Edinburgh, qualifying in clinical psychology 1974 from the Tavistock Clinic, London, and obtaining his doctorate at Edinburgh in 1977.

Currently Dr Parker is Senior Lecturer (Associate Professor) in Psychology at the University of Gothenburg, Sweden. He has authored or co-authored more than 50 articles and book chapters on clinical psychology and parapsychology, which are his main areas of research.

Born in Ravensworth, England. Qualified as a clinical psychologist from the Tavistock Clinic in 1994, a Ph.D in psychology from the University of Edinburgh, in 1977. Part of the doctoral work was published in the form of a course book States of Mind (1976) which summarizes research on consciousness and psi-phenomena. The doctoral research initiated the use of the ganzfeld technique in parapsychology as a means of producing an experimental analogue of paranormal experiences in a laboratory setting.

Licensed clinical psychologist, having held a number of clinical appointments in the adult and child clinical area both in the UK and in Sweden. In 1993, became an Associate Professor (Senior Lecturer) in the Psychology Department, Gothenburg University, with tenure from 1997.

Member of the Swedish Psychological Association, the British Psychological Society, the Society for Psychical Research, and Council/Board Member of the Parapsychological Association, and Examiner for the Swedish Society for Clinical and Experimental Hypnosis.

In the year 2000 took part in the symposium on parapsychology led by Professor Robert Morris at the XXVII International Congress of Psychology held this year in Stockholm He has been for the last three years the Editor for the European Journal of Parapsychology and is currently a Board member of the Parapsychological Association.
