John
Ballard, Ph.D., is Associate Professor of Management at the
College of Mount St. Joseph in Cincinnati, Ohio. A lieutenant colonel
(US Air Force, Retired), he is a member of the Academy of Management,
the American Psychological Association, and the American Psychological
Society. John began parapsychological research as an undergraduate at
the United States Air Force Academy, where his senior thesis involved
testing over 500 cadets for psychical ability. In the summer of 1970
he was a Research Fellow at the Institute for Parapsychology in
Durham, NC. Both his masters thesis at the University of Southern
Mississippi in 1975 and his doctoral dissertation at Purdue University
in 1983 were parapsychological studies. For more complete professional
