Michael ThalbourneMichael Thalbourne is a Visiting Research Fellow at the University of Adelaide (Australia)  researching, amongst other things, the phenomenon of alleged alien abduction and the degree to which abductees claim to exhibit psychic abilities. An alleged alien abductee claims to have been kidnapped by extraterrestrial beings. Dr. Thalbourne is also doing work on mystical (spiritual) experience. In a few words, mystical experience may involve a sense of being in the presence of a ‘higher power’ and receiving cosmic illumination.

President of the Australian Institute of Parapsychological Research
Visiting Research Fellow Anomalistic Psychology Research Unit
