Rockwell, Theodore(1989). Psi is not a mere anomaly. Journal of the American Society for Psychical Research, 83(3), (pp. 201-203) Abstract Defining psi phenomena as merely unexplained anomalies, as has recently become fashionable, reduces parapsychology from a science to a chronicling of Forteana. Parapsychology exists because of widespread human experience with certain phenomena that beg explanation. One can study these phenomena scientifically without fully understanding their cause or nature. Indeed, when all is understood in any branch of science, it is no longer science; it has become history.
