Journal of the Society for Psychical Research, 56(817), (pp. 23-27) Abstract Reports the case study of a middle-aged married man who underwent a successful depossession in his attempt to treat his urges to cross-dress. The procedure was similar to the ego-state therapy developed by J. Watkins and H. Watkins (1979) in which the hypnotized S is encouraged to create a persona that encapsulates the behavioral problem and speaks for it.
