Stokes, Douglas M(1989). An explanation of statistical terminology used in parapsychology. Parapsychology Review, 20(4), (pp. 8-12)

Abstract

Examples of hypothesis testing, types of errors, and sources of error are provided. Meta-analysis is briefly discussed, and point estimation as a means of replication is considered.
