Abstract

Describes the basic features of meta-analysis and discusses applications to parapsychological literature review. Meta-analysis, which often is called quantitative literature review, is defined as the statistical analysis of groups of experiments. It is maintained that meta-analyses are becoming more common in the behavioral sciences in general and that the number of parapsychological meta-analyses will increase.
