Tassano, Fabian & Green, Celia(1986). Parapsychology and physics. Journal of the Society for Psychical Research, 53(804), (pp. 369 -375) Abstract Discusses whether the degree of association between the problems of physics and parapsychology--that has been presumed to exist by some parapsychologists--is justified, focusing on how much this association has been determined merely by the exoticism of modern physics, rather than by any very cogent relevance of any of the new ideas in physics to parapsychology. The historical development of physics and parapsychology is considered, in terms of the quantum theory and theories about psi phenomena, respectively. In view of the problems that parapsychologists face, both from the elusive and baffling range of phenomena that they are trying to elucidate, and the difficult social context within which they operate, adoption of a more orthodox scientific view of the world is recommended, but not without the use of caution.
