Troscianko, Tomasz & Blackmore, Susan(1985). A possible artifact in a PK test for babies. European Journal of Parapsychology, 6(1), (pp. 95-97)

Abstract

Argues that tests for nonrandomness may need to be specific to the situation (e.g., to the program and the computer) in which a random number generator (RNG) is being used and that if claims are to be made about the role of the Ss in psychokinesis (PK) experiments, control trials with Ss are essential. These issues are considered with respect to a study by D. J. Bierman (see record 1986-13288-001) of PK among infants using targets developed with an RNG. (1 ref)
