Walker, Evan H(1985). Quantum mechanics and consciousness. Journal of Indian Psychology, 4(2), (pp. 21-26) Abstract Presents a coalescence of Western views on quantum mechanics and Eastern views regarding consciousness that may provide a better understanding of the nature of human experience and psi phenomena. The quantum theory implies that observation can alter physical systems and that there is some correlation between the conscious state of the observer and the state of the physical system. The nature of conscious observation is described in terms of interaction of mind with matter and a will channel. Both consciousness and will are tied to the quantum processes in the brain functioning and psi events. (10 ref)
