Journal of the Society for Psychical Research, 53(800), (pp. 96-99) Abstract Replies to the critique of G. H. Hoevelmann and G. Zorab (see record 1986 -07931-001) of L. S. Betty's (see record 1985-26852-001) case presentation, which included views by the present author, of the Kern City Poltergeist. It is asserted that Hoevelmann and Zorab misrepresented the views of the present author, whose discriminating features of living and discarnate agencies were not developed solely by imagination.
