Schmidt, Helmut(1984). Comparison of a teleological model with a quantum collapse model of psi. Journal of Parapsychology, 48(4), (pp. 261-276)

Abstract

Compares 2 previously described mathematical psi models. The teleological model (TM) emphasizes the space-time independence of psi and the close relationship between ESP and psychokinesis (PK). TM leads to a divergence problem in the sense that the role of future observers seems exaggerated. The quantum collapse model (QCM) avoids this problem. However, the QCM may appear less attractive insofar as some of the space-time independence is lost and the relationship between ESP and PK is weakened. Experiments that might show the inadequacy of one or the other model are discussed. (11 ref)
