Abstract

Surveyed 12 former presidents, from 1968 to 1978, of the Parapsychological Association concerning their selections of the most important parapsychological experiments. It is argued that the resulting list of 8 studies (or group of studies) chosen by at least 2 of the respondents can be used to assess evidence for and against psi. Comparisons with data reported by D. Robinson (1981), who surveyed all members of the association, are discussed; that list included 7 of the 8 studies selected by the presidents. A partial listing of the groups of studies is included, and limitations of this survey methodology are noted. (23 ref)
