Rogo, D Scott(1984). Searching for psi in "primitive" cultures: Some tips for field workers. Parapsychology Review, 15(4), (pp. 1-4) Abstract Contends that random number generators and card decks should be put aside to search for manifestations of psi in the daily experience of primitive people. It is suggested that fraud or the process of mystification may build up expectations among witnesses that help psi to genuinely manifest. Psi may express itself in different cultures in different ways. Local folklore traditions can provide leads. It is suggested that shamans, witch doctors, and faith healers may know more about psi than scientists. (13 ref)
