Nash, Carroll B(1983). An ESP test with two experimenters acting at the same time. Parapsychology Review, 14(2), (pp. 10-12) Abstract Tested whether Ss' scores would be (1) higher in general ESP (GESP) than in clairvoyance, (2) higher in trials when the 2 experimenters (Es) acted in conjunction than in opposition, (3) higher with the E to whom they directed their ESP than with the other E, and (4) higher when the Es knew which S was the target of the S's ESP. Two Es tested 20 Ss in 2 sessions using ESP decks. The 4 double-runs of each session were alternated with tests of GESP and clairvoyance. Initially, Ss chose which E's deck they would use. Results show that the scoring rate was significantly positive (1) for the whole experiment, (2) for 1 of the Es, (3) for GESP trials, (4) with the target E, and (5) for trials in which the Es knew who the target was. Results show that Ss were able to direct their ESP to the target E. (3 ref)
