Abstract

Discusses 3 cases in which claims were made that physical objects had been moved by psychokinesis: a domestically centered poltergeist case the author regards as weak, a well-documented mediumistic case history, and the case of a psychic who lost psychokinetic powers. In the last case, the author attempted to measure and identify the powers of the psychic using infrared radiation. The digital volt-meter did show an increase in reading when the psychic was testing his powers, but it is not clear whether it was the infrared that was being affected or some paranormal electrical effects.
