Krishnan, V(1982). Out-of-the-body vision. Parapsychology Review, 13(2), (pp. 21-22) Abstract Maintains that reports of out-of-the-body (OB) visions during near-death experiences are explained not only by psychological or paranormal terms but also by receptors and brain mechanisms that are different from those involved in normal vision. The finding that Ss having single, involuntary OB experiences see more clearly and accurately than Ss having voluntary OB experiences is attributed to the former not being verified as quickly as the latter.
